We are made so special by God. He gave us life and He gave us a good place to live in, the planet Earth. But God didn’t make us to have the same characteristics and values. We people have different values like being caring, loving, kind, and God-fearing. There are also bad values like being naughty and selfish. But today, what happened to our values?
The present is different from past. Today, our values are different than the long time ago. In history, all people have all those good values. Being caring and loving to our parents even to other people are some examples of good values. Being respectful and honest to all people and being kind and loyal to help other people. But today, many don’t have those values. It becomes worst. Children now have no respect to their parents and to other people. We, teenagers don’t obey and ask permissions from our parents. Rich people are very proud of their money but they didn’t help poor people who are starving due to poverty. Aside from those deteriorating values, there are still those good values today. Some of us teenagers, have the values of respect and honest to our parents. We should have those values so that we will not be scolded by our parents. We shouldn’t disobey our parents because maybe tomorrow they will be gone. Some help poor people and make them happy for being loyal and kind to them. Those kind-hearted people sacrifice themselves to help other people. For me, I think there are still values that remain today. For me, God-fearing is the most important in our lives because God is the source of all values in this world. Praying to God can help us to feel close to Him.
It is important to show our values to our friends, parents even to other people so that they will know about who we are. If possible, we should stop those deteriorating values today to avoid misunderstanding to each other and so that we have peace, respect and good country. No matter what values we have, the important is, we show it and used it in a simple and nice way.
